Sorbonne Universit\u00e9<\/a> (SOU) <\/strong>was formed in 2018 as the merger of Universit\u00e9 Sorbonne (Paris 4), Universit\u00e9 Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris 6), and smaller institutions. Benefitting from the complementary strengths of its funding members, SOU is a multidisciplinary university that can respond to the challenges of the 21st century. It covers a broad spectrum of disciplines in science, medicine, engineering, humanities and social sciences, business administration and arts, and is the largest scientific and medical complex in France, with 53,400 students. SOU\u2019s Institute for Intelligent Systems and Robotics (ISIR) is a multidisciplinary research laboratory associated to CNRS and Sorbonne Universit\u00e9. It is the largest robotics research facility in France, bringing together researchers and academics from different disciplines of Engineering Sciences & Information and of the Life Sciences. Within ISIR, the Assistance to Gesture with Applications to Therapy (AGATHE) group, that will be involved in NIMA, is specialised in the design and control of robotic devices to assist human motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
