Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma

Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma (CBM) is a private non-profit academic institution, devoted to undergraduate and postgraduate education, advanced research and innovation in Healthcare. Established in 1992, CBM is formed by the two Schools of Medicine and Surgery, and Engineering. Placing a special emphasis on the central role of the patient in healthcare and research, it includes a Polyclinic and a Centre for Integrated Research hosting over 40 multidisciplinary research units within the fields of Biomedicine and Bioengineering. The NIMA project will take advantage of this highly multidisciplinary environment, involving in the project bioengineers, neuroscientists, neuropsychologists and an expert of ethical issues. CBM will contribute to the NIMA project by exploiting the resources and expertise of the research unit of Neurophysiology and Neuroengineering of Human-Technology Interaction (NeXT).
